Well what can I say, Volleyball is an awesome game! I made this site just for the love of the game and also to accomplish some key goals. One of my main goals is to bring people together! One of the interesting things I've noticed is that even though there are lots of volleyball players in GTA, people are still very fragmented and have problem getting in contact with each other. So perhaps this website can help bridge that gap.

I wanted to make a site which could perhaps become a common meeting ground for all volleyball players. A common place where people can share ideas, events, opinions, any information in regards to volleyball. Y'know strength in numbers and all that good stuff.

For example, I want the site to be able to help you find a place to play, find a place closest to you, find teams you can join or find players if you want to start a team, figure out how much it costs and to a certain extent how to play the game. Essentially a one stop shop for beginner and intermediate players.

Yep, I also want to promote the game to people who are possibly interested in starting to play volleyball. I'd love it if someone writes an article about the way people interact and psychology of the game when you step on court to play. I'm sure a beginner will appreciate your experience and getting to know some unwritten rules which you pick up along the way.

And I have to say this, my initial motive was, I was getting sick of the 1 hour expensive leagues games, so I made the forum initially so that I can get people together and have an organized private league of our own. A not for profit, Max time rental of gym so that we can play for hours. Drive half an hour in traffic to get to the game, play a game for an hour and then go home? Nah, I'll pass.

Well, I'll try what I can to get this site more complete. I'm flyin' solo at the moment so I certainly can use all the help I can get. Check the FAQ on ways you can help out. Otherwise, enjoy the site and if you like it, spread the word!
